Manuel Poblete
President / CEO

Manuel Poblete founded Bello Talent in 2009 and manages top talent in the Washington metropolitan area. Through Bello Studios, a division of Bello Talent, he also produces films, TV show concepts, and commercials.

Manuel has worked in the entertainment industry for over 15 years as an actor, producer, director, and private acting coach. His vast knowledge and experience has helped Bello’s talent pool succeed in many national commercials, industrials, feature films, and TV shows. Manuel’s professionalism and hands-on approach to training talent has helped him grow Bello Talent into a widely respected talent management and production company. Manuel is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA).

Jason Baustin
Producer / Director / Editor / Writer

Jason Baustin is an integral part of film projects at Bello Studios. Jason has written, directed, produced, and edited numerous films, commercials, and music videos throughout his eight years in the entertainment industry. He has also worked at Discovery Channel as a Digital Media Producer/Editor for five years.

Jason’s passion is helping our clients effectively tell their stories through captivating sound and video, attractive motion graphics, and top-notch post-production editing.

Diane G. Robertson
Producer / Writer

Diane Robertson wears many hats at Bello Studios. She utilizes her talents by providing creative writing, social media management, media and public relations, and marketing services to the company.

Diane is a broadcast television and multimedia professional who has been in the entertainment industry for 14 years. Prior to joining Bello Studios, she led the Broadcast Services department, including the website and social media, of a Washington, DC PBS station for six years. While at PBS, she was also responsible for all on-air content selection and acquisition and placement, including on-air fundraising content.

Richard Brown
Producer / Director / Cinematographer / Sound / Writer

Richard Brown uses his vast talents to create films for Bello Studios that have a cinematic look and sound exceptional.

Richard has been directing and producing films since 2005. In 2005, he directed his first film, “The Mission,” which was about World War II. In 2008, he won an award at the Catholic University of America for his documentary film, “A Lost Son.” He followed it up with the silent film, “The Traveling Salesman” in 2010, “Partner to Partner” in 2011, and “Shadow of Blood” in 2014. He is currently in pre-production of a film noir, “Greed”, and has future projects in development.

Akiba Robinson
Producer / Writer / TV Host

Akiba Robinson works closely with Bello Studios to write and produce films. Two of these shorts films, “Asstritis” and “Last Will and Testament”, recently received six nominations at the World Music & Independent Film Festival in Arlington, VA. This success has inspired her to reach a broader audience of viewers by creating new television content directed towards docudramas and reality shows.

Akiba began her entertainment career as a TV hostess in “Mad Flavor”, “Splash TV”, “FM Video”, and “Soulcity Unplugged”. As a hostess, she has interviewed many celebrities including Alicia Keys, CeeLo Green, Tyson Beckford, Maia Campbell, Adrienne-Joi Johnson, and many more. Throughout her hosting career, Akiba has interviewed on the red carpet of the BET Awards, BET Comedy Awards, ASCAP Awards, Source Awards, car shows, fundraiser events, and many major record labels in New York City.

Alicia Beth Dawson
Producer / Writer / Actress

Alicia Beth Dawson is currently working with Bello Studios as co-producer and co-writer on a feature comedy film called “The Bachelor Plan” as well as four reality TV show concepts. In 2014, Alicia worked closely with Travestee Films and Bello Studios to help cast principal actors and provide hair and make-up services. Her love for independent film making inspired her to write and produce a hilarious short film called “Just Listen”, where she played the lead role as a struggling actress dealing with unsupportive parents.

Alicia’s passion for the arts led her to fill her high school and college years with active participation in theater, private voice lessons, and dance and acting classes. She attended the University of South Carolina where she appreciated the diverse culture and majored in biology but decided to pursue a career in hair and make-up.
